Projects are much more likely to succeed by
following a formal design and development process. Without some type of
process, it is very difficult to develop a product that satisfies the
requirements and needs of the client. Even if developers do manage to
develop a working product, it is often poorly documented and not very
maintainable. By following a proper process, developers can ensure that
the product is of high quality, meets client requirements and is very
maintainable. Although the process we use varies from project to
project, there are a few practises that we try to follow on a regular
basis. Below are the techniques that we like to use when embarking on a
new project.
